The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announces the final Action Memo for the Mohawk Tannery site in Nashua, NH.  EPA issued an Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis (EE/CA) amendment to the public on July 9, 2018 and held a public meeting with formal hearing and comment period on the proposed alternative cleanup.  The public comment period closed on September 7, 2018.  The Action memo confirms EPA’s proposed alternative in the EE/CA was alterative 5: Waste Encapsulation and Impermeable Capping.
