Community Advisory Group

EPA has awarded the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council Exita Technical Assistance Grant (TAG):

The WRWC use funds to help the community affected by the Centredale Manor Superfund Site to understand information contained in EPA technical documents related to hazardous waste site cleanup and to understand the issues and decisions that need to be made related to hazardous waste site cleanup. An independent technical advisor is assisting WRWC to review and inform the community on EPA documents related to the site cleanup. The technical advisor’s information has been shared with the rest of the community to allow it to more meaningfully participate in the cleanup decision-making and implementation process
