The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in cooperation with the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) will hold a Community Meeting in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The EPA is conducting the community meeting to provide an update of activities for the Griggs and Walnut Ground Water Plume Superfund site in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The update includes the results of a recent investigation of shallow soil vapor contamination and potential indoor air vapor intrusion for a residential community. These activities ensure the site is fully investigated and the remedies put in place protect public health and the environment. During the session, members from the EPA and the NMED will be available to answer questions.
