North Ridge Estate Site Tour

Neighbors and community members are invited to tour the North Ridge Estates Superfund Site in Klamath Falls, Oregon to view the completion of the remedial construction that started in July 2016. Participants will learn about the cleanup, observe the restored properties, see what has been accomplished and find out what is planned for the future.

DATE: Wednesday, October 3, 2018

TIME: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

WHERE:  North Ridge Estates Superfund Site, at the corner of Northridge Drive and Old Fort Road, Klamath Falls, Oregon

INVITED PARTICIPANTS:  Klamath Falls community and all state, federal, county, tribal and city elected officials, agency managers and staff whose hard work and collaboration have enabled the cleanup at North Ridge Estates so that the site can once again be a valuable asset for the community.

Season 3 Cleanup and Construction Underway Now

Season 3 remedial construction has begun! This is the final construction season for the cleanup and site restoration. In this construction season we will: excavate and restore 11 properties and remove about 115,000 cubic yards of materials; open the Memorial Park Repository; remove and replace North Ridge and Hunters Ridge Roads; install final septic systems; install the final cover on both repositories; and continue seeding and landscaping, deck replacement, and paving work.
