The Historical Radiological Assessment (HRA) document presents a comprehensive history of radiological operations conducted by the Navy and Navy contractors at the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard (HPS). It was prepared and presented as a two-volume set:
Volume I, entitled Historical Radiological Assessment, Hunters Point Annex, Volume I, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP), 1966-1995 published in August 2000 and addressed radioactivity associated with the NNPP.
Volume II, describes the history of operations involving G-RAM, which is defined as any radioactive material used by the Navy or Navy contractors not associated with the NNPP.
