About the Superfund Redevelopment Initiative
This nationally coordinated effort provides EPA and its partners with a process to return Superfund sites to productive use. Learn more at Superfund Redevelopment Initiative.
Redevelopment at the Site
On September 22, 2008, the CIC property portion of the site was purchased by the Township of Edison. This property is currently being utilized for recreational purposes/open space. The groundwater aquifer underlying the site is classified as a Class IIA groundwater aquifer (potable water source) by the State of New Jersey; however, will not be used for potable purposes in the vicinity of the site.
Economic Activity at the Site
As of December 2017, EPA did not have economic data related to on-site businesses, or economic data were not applicable due to site use. View information about redevelopment economics at Superfund sites.
