EPA Superfund Program: RENORA, INC., EDISON TOWNSHIP, NJ

Superfund Site Profile

The Renora, Inc. site is located in Edison Township, New Jersey. The 1-acre site was used for the collection and hauling of waste oil and hazardous wastes from 1978 to 1982. During the facility’s operation, oils and hazardous waste materials were accepted for transfer, storage and blending. Transfer spills and container leaks from accumulated wastes contaminated site soils. After the site’s cleanup, EPA removed the site from the Superfund program’s National Priorities List in March 2000.
