The Florence Land Recontouring (FLR) Landfill site is located in the townships of Florence, Mansfield and Springfield in Burlington County, New Jersey. The 60-acre site comprises of a 29-acre landfill, two leachate collection lagoons, a pond believed to have been formed by excavation of soils, which were used as landfill cover material, and two empty tanks. The requirements specified in the 1986 remedy were completed by early 1994. A long-term groundwater/surface water monitoring plan and operation & maintenance (O&M) plan are ongoing.
