Last spring, EPA dug up and removed soil and sediment contaminated with dioxin, lead, chromium, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from the Diamond Head Oil Refinery Superfund site. EPA is continuing to remove contaminated soil from the site and will also re-seed any disturbed areas and replant the wetlands areas.
