The two-acre Airco Plating Company Superfund site is an active metal plating facility in Miami, Florida. The site is located in a commercial and industrial area. The site has operated as an active metal plating facility since 1955. EPA placed the site on the Superfund program’s National Priorities List (NPL) in 1990 because of contaminated soil and ground water resulting from plating operations.
