The Stauffer Chemical Company (Tarpon Springs) Site is the location of a former facility that produced elemental phosphorus from phosphate ore that was mined in Florida. The Site occupies about 130 acres and is located at 877 Anclote Road Tarpon Springs, Florida. The Site is divided by Anclote Road into the South parcel and the North parcel. The Anclote River borders the Site to the south and west. Victor Chemical Company and later Stauffer Chemical Company operated the facility from 1947 to 1981.
