Superfund Site Profile

The 5-acre Galen Myers Dump/Drum Salvage site is located in Osceola, Indiana. Drum reclamation activities at the site from about 1970 to 1983 led to soil and groundwater contamination. Inspections by EPA in 1984 found many leaking and deteriorating drums. Following cleanup, groundwater monitoring is ongoing.
