EPA Superfund Program: OLD MILL, ROCK CREEK, OH

Superfund Site Profile

The Old Mill site is located in Rock Creek, Ohio. It consists of two parcels of land, the Henfield property (3 acres) and the Kraus property (10 acres). Five dilapidated wooden buildings and four concrete silos were located on the Henfield property, which was once the location of a feed mill and later a potting soil operation. Facility operations contaminated soil and groundwater with hazardous chemicals. The cleanup for the site was completed in September of 1991.  Currently the site is being monitored to ensure the remedy is still protective of human health and the environment.
