Superfund Site Profile

The Ogallala Ground Water Contamination Site consists of two areas, or subsites, comprising 16 acres in Ogallala, Nebraska. Electronics manufacturing, grain storage and dry cleaning operations contaminated groundwater with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and solvents. Parts of the site have been cleaned up. However, environmental risks remain. Long-term cleanup, operation and maintenance activities, and monitoring are ongoing.
