Superfund Site Profile
The Newmark Ground Water Contamination site is an 8-square-mile area of contamination in San Bernardino, California. Contaminants of concern include volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chlorinated solvents. EPA investigations did not find point sources for the contamination. Following construction of interim remedies, operation and maintenance activities and monitoring are ongoing.R9 Headline
