The 17,725-acre Schofield Barracks site is located in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii. Industrial operations at the site contaminated groundwater with volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including trichloroethene (TCE). Following cleanup, EPA took the site off the Superfund program’s National Priorities List (NPL) in 2000.
